First and foremost the configuration you are about to see is
that of our own XP computer, (fully updated with Service Pack 2),
you may copy the settings if you wish. However, these settings are
only suggested and you would be doing so at your own risk. We do not
accept any responsibilities whatsoever. We are only attempting to
help you view greetings that are not harmful to your computer in any
manner. Many of you have probably seen "Active-X" warnings
since the new update to your XP computer. Although it is good to
protect against malicious forms of Active-X, it does not necessarily
mean that Active-X should be disabled for everything.
We do highly recommend that you have a firewall
installed on your computer and would suggest that if you do not have
one, that you should install one before making any changes to your
settings. Likewise, we highly recommend that everyone has an updated
antivirus
program as well as a spyware
program. We also suggest that you write down your settings before
you make any changes.
First check "Manage Add On's"
With Internet Explorer open, click the "tools" menu, then click "Manage Add
On's". Look for "Shockwave Flash Object", if it is not enabled highlight
it by clicking it one time, then click the enable button on the bottom left, and then click the ok button on the
bottom right. Note, you may need to restart your browser. If this
does not resolve the problem, please feel free to continue on to
"Configuring the browser".

Configuring
The Browser
With Internet Explorer open, click the "tools" menu, then click
internet options and select the advanced tab. From this point on you
may copy our settings if you so choose to do so, you could also
experiment as well. The images below show the browser settings of
our XP computer. Please note that it does have the Java 2 runtime environment
installed on it. See
our help section for information on that if you have a java related
issue. The images are in order, so you can scroll down, (top to
bottom), and view it as it should be displayed in your settings,
(not necessarily how it should be configured). Also note that you
may need to restart your browser or computer for the new settings to
take effect.

We
hope that you will find this helpful, if you have any suggestions
please feel free to send us an email. Please note that our settings
enable us to freely search the web without hindrances, however this
computer is protected by a firewall, antivirus and a spyware
program.
